General Assembly: a glimpse inside the inner workings

Brussels, 13 June 2026 - The Fitce General Assembly meets every year. It's a moment to draw lines and make decisions. But it's also an excellent occasion to network and to find inspiration.

In Belgium, a General Assembly (Algemene Vergadering in Dutch, Assemblée Générale in French) is the supreme, highest decision-making body of a non-profit organisation (VZW / ASBL). The members of Fitce.be have an equal voice and vote. As per legal requirement it meets at least once a year to approve financial statements, elect board directors, and steer the organisation.

Watch the video

  • To hear Christian Vanhuffel, the Fitce Secretary. He knows the organisation very well, since he has been President of Fitce Belgium in the past.
  • Hear also about the status of our next events.
  • Learn more about the afternoon in Brussels. We started with a walk through Brussels. Leonieke Karlas of Brukselbinnenstebuiten let us discover many hidden places. It was an amazing experience. But above all, it was also an excellent extra opportunity to meet with the members of the Fitce Community.
