FITCE.be VZW/ASBL is the Belgium-based broadband connectivity and services community, that focuses on connecting and inspiring stakeholders, knowledge sharing and networking.
We bring together industry professionals, academics and autorities, to exchange views and gain new insights into the developments and challenges related to the technical, regulatory, societal, and economic aspects of broadband – both fixed and mobile.
During our in-person and virtual events, and through other channels, we explore important trends in the field and discuss evolutions at the international stage and how they translate to the Belgian context.
In doing so FITCE.be contributes to the development of an advanced technological communicaton infrastructure providing superior connectivity and worldclass broadband services in Belgium. This is, more than ever, precondition for societal development, economic growth and wealth creation, sustainability, and attractiveness for foreign investment.
As an association, FITCE.be is driven by values of free, social and sustainable entrepreneurship.
FITCE.be is the belgian member of the European FITCE.eu umbrella federation (“Fédération des Ingénieurs des Télécommunications de la Communauté Européenne”).
The members of FITCE.be have an equal voice and vote in the annual General Assembly. The GA a.o. approves the accounts and the budget, and appoints and dismisses the members of the Governing Board.
FITCE.be is run by the Governing Board composed of enthousiast digital professionals which duly represent all stakeholders, and who are nominated by the General Assembly. Since 2018 the Advisory Board, composed of C-level representatives of all stakeholders, delivers strategic guidance to the FITCE.be Governing Board, i.e. on the priority activities, the product portfolio, and topics that will become trending in the telecom and connectivity sector
